Dr. Ferrell has been providing leadership as a medical director for 20 years and is board certified in Emergency Medicine—which he has practiced for 25 years. He is a trained and certified medical aesthetic medical director. He received his MD as well as his MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He ensures appropriate medical supervision of the patient care policies, procedures, and protocols used in the medical spa.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND ASSOCIATIONS
Dr. Ferrell has healthcare executive experience as a senior vice-president with Envision Healthcare—a fortune 500 company—specializing in operations. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and a member of the executive team for Scottsdale Emergency Associates. He is the former medical director of the Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Emergency Department, chairman of Pharmacy and Therapeutics for Honor Health and chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine as well as a member of the Medical Executive committee for the Honor Health system.
SPECIALTIES AND INTERESTS
His research interests include optimizing pain management and patient satisfaction as well as physician motivation/efficiency. He and his wonderful wife live in Peoria and have four fantastic children.
