Physician Assistant
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Angela DeNardo is a Physician Assistant with 4 years of experience specializing in aesthetics. Angela received her bachelors in Biology, with a Psychology minor, from University of Nevada and went on to receive her Masters of Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University. During her undergraduate career, she found a passion for genetics and became a teaching assistant and helped conduct research in the field as well. She also dedicated her time to volunteering on the pediatrics floor/PICU as well as the Ronald Mcdonald foundation. During PA school, she was elected as the AAPA representative and represented her school and profession by attending and voting on legislature at the national AAPA conferences.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND ASSOCIATIONS
Angela’s passion for aesthetics started when she was a teenager struggling with self-confidence. Her curiousity lead her to land an internship in Dermatology in high school, which further fueled her passion. She was able to see the impact that the field has in changing peoples lives. Nothing is more incredible and rewarding than to experience the transformation due to gaining self-confidence. She also loved how upbeat and positive aesthetics was and felt that her energetic and enthusiastic personality fit in perfectly. Since then, she has dedicated her education to be able to pursue this dream while also studying psychology in hopes of having a significant impact on clients. Being a social person, she loves meeting people and fostering relationships with my patients. One of the things she loves most about aesthetics is that some treatments not only enhance someone’s appearance, but also treat medical conditions and improve someone’s quality of life. She has dedicated a lot of her career towards muscle anatomy and physiology and mastering neurotoxin treatments such as TMJ tox, tech neck, Bell’s palsy, myofascial pain, muscle spasms, etc. Most people don’t realize the clinical impact Botox has had in various parts of the body such as the heart or bladder. She also loves formulating individualized plans with her clients and incorporating Scupltra for its natural long-term benefits and prevention against the effects of aging. Being an artistic and creative person, she gets excited when clients come with some inspiration photos of their ideal lips, since there are so many lip trends and methods of injecting that can produce results that are effective yet natural.
SPECIALTIES AND INTERESTS
Angela is always striving to become her best self, and hopes that she can inspire her clients to do the same. Self-care is a top priority, because nobody is going to love you like you love yourself! She loves watching Ted Talks and you can always count on me for a great motivational video or inspirational book recommendation. She also enjoys golf and being outdoors on her days off.
